We like to schedule times at your convenience and when time is available, especially during the school year. Dental appointments are excused absences and can be fit into your child’s busy school schedule.
Please notify the office 24 hours in advance if you would like to cancel or postpone your appointment. Our patients are important to us, however our time is limited. We ask your cooperation in consideration of all our patients. Thank you.
WHAT ABOUT FINANCES?
Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan which fits into your schedule. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, most major credit cards and care credit.
Our Office Policy Regarding Dental Insurance
We participate in many different insurance programs. Please call to inquire about your particular insurance plan.
If we have received all of your insurance information on the day of the appointment we will be happy to file your claim. Please be familiar with your insurance benefits, as we will collect from you the estimated amount your insurance is not expected to pay. We file insurance claims electronically, so your insurance company will receive each claim within days of treatment. You are responsible for any balance not paid by your insurance company. We do our best to estimate the percentage due at each visit. If there is a balance after your insurance company has made payment we will bill you. If there is an over payment we will refund you. Accounts not paid in in the second billing cycle will be subject to a re-billing fee.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND that we file dental insurance as a courtesy to our patients. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your employer or you and your insurance company.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, please keep us informed of any insurance changes such as policy name, insurance company address or a change of employment.
