What’s Different at Pasternack Pediatric Dental?
We were one of the first pediatric dental practices in the area, opened by Dr. Paul Pasternack in 1977. We’re now a second-generation practice as he has been joined by his daughter, Dr. Chara Pasternack, as well as Dr. Christine Biondi.
What has not changed – and never will – is our dedication to the children and families we serve. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, positive dental experiences, tailoring each visit and procedure to the child’s unique clinical, emotional, and mental needs. At the same time, we are respectful of the family’s wishes and expectations and partner with parents so we’re all working toward the same goals.
- Our pediatric dentists are experienced and highly-skilled professionals. In addition to their two-year post-doctorate pediatric dental residencies, our doctors pursue continuing education to stay at the forefront of the latest changes in the specialty. With their warmth and good humor, our doctors help children grow up at ease in the dental environment and equipped to maintain their healthy smiles, for life!
- Our staff members, many of whom have been with the practice for years, have specialized training to work with infants, children, adolescents, and children with special needs. They are dedicated, caring, and creative, always finding new ways to engage with children and guide them through their visits with laughter and encouragement!
- Our office is kid-friendly and fun, filled with many surprises that delight the children. Beyond the décor, we have incorporated leading-edge technologies and use advanced pediatric dental techniques for painless and anxiety-free experiences!
- Our focus on education is core to our belief in treating children as family. Using everyday language, we teach children (and their parents) about oral health, nutrition, and establishing good habits. From visit-to-visit we reinforce this guidance, always tailored to the child’s specific clinical concerns, and provide lots of praise when we see that they have improved their brushing and flossing. We want children to grow into young adults with optimal oral health and the knowledge necessary to keep their smile healthy and beautiful as they “graduate” to a general dentist!
